What is the MPACT Fund?

MPACT supports performance arts in our community via two specific programs. These programs are funded through your donations.


Are my donations tax deductible? 

Our goal is to be awarded 501c3 tax-exempt status within 2 years by the IRS. In the interim, your donations are not tax deductible. However, all donors giving $100 or more via one-time or ongoing donation will be formally recognized by name &/or logo on our web page and special event flyers.


Where do my funds go? Am I paying Gravity team salaries? 

100% of donations will currently go to program funding and all administrative work related to these programs is solely volunteer-based.

What are the programs? 

Program 1: Student Scholarship

Depending on funding, we will offer 1 or more scholarships that will cover membership cost. The awardee(s) will be required to submit an application that will be reviewed by our Board. Eligible applicants will be under the Federal Poverty Level. They will describe how access to classes will benefit them. They will attend regularly. They will demonstrate learning in a showcase. 

Program 2: Teacher Assistance

This program will partner with local community providers to give discounts to Aerial, Pole, & Movement teachers for preventive primary care, vision, & dental care. It is not a healthcare insurance program. This program will also create a medical fund to assist with medical bills or pay if a teacher is injured or unable to work, as teachers are contractors who do not get paid if they are injured. The program will also create a scholarship for teachers interested in continuing their certifications and trainings.
