What is Lyra?

Lyra is a circular metal apparatus suspended in the air. From there, the aerialist makes shapes from below, inside, or above.

How much is class?

Lyra Level 1 | Mondays 7:15pm

We teach you the building blocks of your practice including terminology, hoop entries, hand grips, conditioning, and form. Great for a first class or for continuing to learn, hone, and advance those skills. 

Requirements: None

Lyra Level 2 | Mondays 8:15pm

In this level, advance our shapes and transitions, create sequences, reduce points of contact, and begin moving above the top bar.

Requirements: Knee Beats | Delilah | Pike Under Bar | Mermaid | Front Balance | Star | Top Bar Knee Hang

Attire

We recommend leggings with a tank or sports bra. Have a sleeved shirt handy for learning moves where the Lyra is in your armpit or elbow pit. No zippers or jewelry that will catch!
