Policies
Membership & Studio Policies
Auto-Renewal. Memberships auto-renew monthly based on original sale date. Sales are final, no refunds.
Adult Membership Structure. Adult memberships are drop-in based, and registration is at the student's discretion to the class s/he desires from our Wellness Living Class schedule.Â
Youth Membership Structure. Memberships result in the student(s) being automatically registered for the applicable weekly class/es that align with the purchase. No additional class bookings required.
Silver Sneakers. You must be at least 65 years old, even if you are enrolled in Medicare and on their Silver Sneakers plan. This membership is reserved for a senior age population.
Notifications. Members are strongly encouraged to keep their notifications on. Turning your Email and SMS notifications off in your profile does not hold Gravity District responsible for missed communications.
Texting the Business Phone Line. The business phone number does not accept texts. This is for record keeping purposes. We encourage calls or email.
System SMS. On occasion, you may receive an SMS message from our Wellness Living system. We try to keep these to a minimum and are generally utilized when a class is at risk of cancel or there is an urgent update. This is an outgoing system only.
Late Cancel Window & Process. The late cancel window is 6 hours prior to class start time. The industry standard is 12 to 24 hours so this is generous. Adult Members must manage their class bookings directly in their Wellness Living account. Youth Members booking changes are disabled, as we automatically expect you weekly. Parents must email info@gravitydistrict.com within the 6-hour window to notify us if you cannot make it.
No Show Time. Within 5 minutes of class start, you are marked as a no-show if you are not there.Â
Late Cancel & No-Show Fees. Members are charged a minimum $10 fee for late cancels or no shows (not including surcharge).
Personal Communications with Instructors. It is teacher discretion to share their personal information with you but this does not circumvent process or policy.
Membership Conversions: Be aware! If you have a membership and want to purchase a different level or type, the Gravity Team needs to turn cancel or convert it for you. This is very important! Email info@gravitydistrict.com with your membership change request.
Membership Pause Request. You may temporarily pause your membership for up to 2 months with a $25 fee. You must email info@gravitydistrict.com. All membership changes require a 30-day processing time. It is client responsibility to be timely in your requests. If your membership has just auto-renewed at the time of request, you are not prorated or refunded. We use the email date to kick off the process. Your membership will begin auto-renew payments again after your pause is concluded and that will be the new monthly renewal date. Our team will help with final date confirmations.
Membership Cancelation Request. To cancel, we require an email. This is non-negotiable. Email info@gravitydistrict.com. Please include: Name of member, written request to cancel, phone number to contact if questions. All membership changes require a 30-day processing time. If your membership would normally auto-renew in less than 30 days from your email request, you are subject to one more membership collection based on the date received. We use the email date to kick off the process and it is 30-days. It is client responsibility to be timely with your requests. So between us? Our suggestion is to send the request right before or right after your normal auto-renew. We do not charge upfront registration or admin fees or even supply fees! Thus, this is a fair policy and process without undue administrative burden.
Two Month Membership Minimum. Based on the cancelation process, therefore, all memberships are subject to a minimum of 2 payment collections or, in essence, Memberships that request cancelation in under 30 days are charged 1-month fee equal to the value of their membership. All cancelation email requests will be responded to with confirmation of final date based on receipt, and you will be able to use any remaining passes from the request date to the final end date.
Pre-Requisites for Level 2. We currently work on an honor system. However, we have specific moves listed for Level 2 in the class descriptions.Â
Credit Carryover. For Memberships with class limits, there is no credit carryover. It is "use it or lose it."
Payment Method. It is client responsibility to maintain their payment method. Failed automatic payments result in a $25 inconvenience fee for every attempt to collect and the account may be flagged or deactivated if this is a perpetual occurrence.
Flagged Accounts or Accounts In Bad Standing. Wellness Living automatically flags non-paying accounts as applicable, including canceling memberships and deactivating profiles, as Gravity gets charged fees by our merchant processor. Accounts with balances must be paid up prior to reinstating any memberships or reactivation of the profile, including a $50 fee. No-showing does not equal membership cancelation. Any deviant profiles created circumventing this process that are discovered will result in an extra charge to remedy the due payment.
Perpetual No-Shows. If you no-show 3 or more times, Gravity reserves the right to deactivate your account. Additionally, Gravity reserves the right to deactivate or not accept new, separate accounts made by flagged profiles.
Booking With No Valid Payment Method. Clients must have a valid payment method on file and/or a negative balance in order to book.
Payment Methods. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards. No Amex. No Cash.
Sharing and Transfers of Credit or Memberships are not allowed.

If there are not 2 students signed up. If a teacher has illness, accident or other issue unforeseen issue. Acts of God or extreme weather. Building Issues (for ex, plumbing or AC problems).
Holidays. We are closed the following days. January 1. July 1. November 25. December 25. Members accept that these dates are already factored into billing. As memberships renew every 30-days, you already on occasion get 5 weeks in a cycle versus 4.

Waiver. A current waiver must be on file for every student.
Instructing Other Students. Do not instruct other students.Â
Spectating. Now allowed. Parents welcome to stay in seating area, although it is small. Visitors are welcome to pop in and get an idea of what is happening but not randomly sit and intently watch.

Damage. Damage to the studio, equipment, theft, etcetera will result in fees charged to you.Â
Personal Item Storage. Cubbies are provided but we recommend leaving valuables at home or locked in your vehicle out of sight, and Gravity is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Cleanliness. Please practice good hygiene and sanitation by wiping down any poles, yoga mats, foam rollers or other equipment after use, and by using the restroom in a sanitary manner.
Illness. If you are sick, do not come to class. Contact us if you need assistance with a cancelation for a medical reason. We have a 6-hour cancel window, so if you know are you sick, do not wait to cancel and then ask us to refund/credit you, because we still have to pay our staff and that spot is still 'lost' to another student who could have used it. We can work with you if you let us know, but please do not abuse this policy either.
Videoing. We love Instagram and filming as much as you do! But please do so when appropriate. Instructors will normally allow time at the end of each class to film. And please be conscientious of any other students in the background and ensure they do not mind. Gravity may on occasion take photos or videos of students in class for Gravity's social media.
Illicit Items. Drugs and alcohol are not permitted in the studio. Anyone an Instructor feels is under the influence may be asked to leave without refund, even if you disagree. This is an insurance liability for us!Â
Pet Policy. We love our pet friends but we need your babies to stay at home please. This is non-negotiable.
Contact. To contact us, email info@gravitydistrict.com. Our goal is to respond to all communications within 72 hours max. Please keep this in mind based on your request.Â
