What is BIMA?
An alliance program improving the health and well-being of Bastrop County residents.
Program Year/Schedule
BIMA activities run from September through November annually, with an amazing overlap of graduates and new joiners every Fall.

Application Links For Scholarship, Internship, & Speaker Panelist Will be Posted in July for the 2025-2026 Year
12 BISD elementary and middle school youth scholarships to attend weekly Aerial Arts & Acrobatic classes. Each student also receives an offer of transportation, healthy meals, and free workout clothes.
4 BISD high school teen scholarships to attend unlimited Aerial, Wellness, and Conditioning classes. They will also be expected to complete BGC development courses, where "the path to leadership begins on the mat." The following topics will be presented in BGC Club between October through May.

3) Adult Work Internships.Â
Gravity welcomes work interns at all times, but our BIMA applicants receive priority consideration.
4) Quarterly Career & Wellness Speaker Panels - free to the community!
Free education on mental well-being topics, plus connection with business and career mentors.Â
5) Fall Capstone Performing Arts Theatre - free to the community!
Combining aerial arts, circus, and theatre, we put on a show unlike any other. This event utilizes our scholarships/interns through performance and/or stage production; brings in pro global talent; and attracts attendees from all over the country. We know, we can't wait either!
